Cookie Policy
This policy explains how the BSE website uses cookies and similar browser technologies, what they do and how you can control them.
Effective and last reviewed: 4 September 2026
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on a device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, which allows a website to remember information in your browser. They can be necessary for a service to work or optional—for example, to measure use or support advertising.
2. What this website currently uses
The current BSE website does not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies. It uses local browser storage only to remember the privacy choices made in our cookie-preference panel.
Hosting and security infrastructure may process essential technical information or use strictly necessary technologies to deliver and protect the website. These cannot be switched off through our preference panel when they are required for the service you request.
3. Cookie categories
- Strictly necessary: required to deliver, secure or remember choices for the website. Consent is not requested for technologies that are legally exempt, but we still explain them.
- Functional: optional features that remember preferences or improve convenience.
- Analytics: optional tools that help an organisation understand how visitors use a website.
- Marketing: optional tools used to measure or personalise advertising.
Functional, analytics and marketing choices are available in the panel for transparency and future control, but the website does not currently deploy technologies in those optional categories.
4. Your choices
On your first visit, you can accept all, reject optional technologies or manage individual categories. Optional technologies remain off unless you choose otherwise. You can change your decision at any time below or through “Cookie settings” in any website footer.
5. Browser controls
You can also use your browser settings to delete cookies and local storage, block technologies or receive warnings. Blocking strictly necessary items may affect how a website works. Browser help pages explain the controls available on your device.
6. External websites
Links to services such as WhatsApp, email, Trinity College London or other external organisations take you to their websites or apps. Those services control their own cookies and privacy practices. Please review their policies before providing information.
7. Changes and contact
We will update this policy if the technologies used by the website change. Questions can be sent to info@bselearning.co.uk or Britannia School of Excellence, 61A West Ham Lane, Stratford, London E15 4PH.
